SWEET SIXTY!

The power of Makeup is undeniable, more so when it comes to boosting ones confidence. As a child, I rarely remember my Mother using any makeup other than the mandatory lipstick! Oh well, sometimes the good old Compact Powder and the one-product-fits-all foundation could be spotted on 'Special Occasions'. I remember sneaking into her dressing table and smothering my lips with her lipstick and cleaning it all up before she came back from work!
    So, this time when she came over, I decided to introduce her to my world of Make up. Although she was quite apprehensive initially, she did enjoy and was quite overwhelmed by the results!
     Also this was my very first attempt at working on a mature skin but even at sixty she was way too glamorous for me to believe! Check out the pictures below for the unbelievable results and you take a call... Sweet 60 or Sweet 16!

As she had deep set eyes, I went with the shades of rose gold and pinks on the eyelids which kind of gave a good lift to the eyes. I added a subtle touch of highlighter to her brow bone and extended the transition shade of brown a little over her brow bone too. Her eye makeup was on point with the finishing touch of eyelashes and a touch of fine eyeliner, adding to the soft glam look. She preferred to go bold with a coral lip which perfectly complemented her eyes.
